Cofondatrice et codirectrice de la maison de production ALSO, Sophie Lorain a produit entre autres Mégantic, Désobéir: le choix de Chantale Daigle, Portrait-Robot et Sortez-moi de moi. Auparavant, elle a coproduit la télésérie Au secours de Béatrice (Attraction Images) de 2013 à 2018. Elle fut productrice associée de la série Fortier (Aetios) de 1999 à 2003 et coproductrice de la comédie Le p'tit monde de Laura Cadieux (Cinémaginaire) en 2002.
