Since 2001,ANNE-SÉGUIN POIRIER has worked as a designer for theatre, circus, and opera. She designed many sets for the following directors, artists and institutions: Michel Lemieux and Victor Pilon’s Delirium (Cirque du Soleil) and Starmania Opera (co-produced by l’Opéra de Québec and The Montreal Opera for which she designed both the sets and the costumes), Gordon McCall and Roy Surette at The Centaur Theatre, Musée National des Beaux-Arts de Québec’s Botero's exhibition and Daniel Bélanger’s tour L'échec du matériel tour. She designed costumes for : Jacques Leblanc’s La Traviata, produced by the Montreal Opera, Estelle Clarton, Catherine Tardif and l’École Nationale de Cirque. She’s presently working on the design of the sets and props for a new production of Cirque du Soleil that will open at The Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles, in 2010.
