A dancer, choreographer, stage director, as well as a ballet
and contemporary dance teacher, JEAN JACQUES PILLET has been, since
2003, a regular collaborator of Cirque du Soleil, first as artistic coordinator
for the Varekai show (2003-2005) directed by Dominic Champagne,
and then as a creator on various projects and special events. From 1994
to 2002, he was the close collaborator as artistic partner of Jean Grand
Maître, which notably brought him to the Paris Opera, La Scala Ballet,
Stuttgart Ballet, Munich Opera, National Ballet of Canada, Les Grands
Ballets Canadiens de Montréal and Den Norske Opera. JEAN JACQUES
PILLET also kept on his choreographic and teaching activities, serving
various institutions and giving classes for many companies. During his
impressive career as a classical and contemporary dancer, JEAN JACQUES
PILLET lent his talent to several dance companies in France and in
Canada, and toured North America and Europe
