CLAUDE MEUNIER is, of course, Ti-Mé of La
Petite Vie and Dong of the famous Ding et Dong duo. He has
had several identities since his beginnings : he first was one of the
Frères Brothers, became one of the Paul et Paul, transformed himself
into Dong, and then into Popa. He wrote or co-wrote the texts for these
characters. With Louis Saia, he created the plays Appelez-moi Stéphane
and Les voisins, and he's one of Broue's authors.
His play Les noces de tôle wich opened
at the Compagnie Jean Duceppe in April 2003, toured the province of Quebec,
including a sit down in Montreal, at the Monument National, in January
2004. For television, he wrote Le Monde Merveilleux de Ding
et Dong and several Bye Bye editions. He also wrote
La Petite Vie and Détect.inc. He's
the leading actor opposite Serge Thériault in that series as well
as in the movie, Ding et Dong, le film. in
1990. In 2007, he makes his debut as a director with the drama comedy
Le Grand Départ. He received many awards, including
Gémeaux, Métrostars and Félix
