A novelist and a translator, SERGE LAMOTHE carried on several trades before devoting himself to writing. A holder of a master’s degree in literature, he published to this day three novels : La longue portée (1998), La tierce personne (2000) and L’ange au berceau (2002). He’s also published poems and short stories in literary journals. He’s currently working on two theatre projects : a translation of the play Intimate Exchanges by Alan Ayckbourn, planned for 2003 at the Théâtre du Rideau Vert, and the adaptation for the stage of Kafka’s Le procès novel, planned for 2004 at Le Théâtre Nouveau Monde.
