JACQUES GODIN’s acting is exceptionally strong. Among the plays into which he breathed his fantastic stage presence, let's mention La visite de la vieille dame, La savetière prodigieuse, L'impératif présent, La poste populaire russe, Avec le temps, cent ans de chansons, La cerisaie and La Grande Magia. On television, he was of many series and teleplays, including Endgame in Kosovo, The Louise Arbour Story, Grande Ourse, Montréal, P.Q., Samuel et la mer, Si la tendance se maintient and Sous le signe du lion, which twice won him the Gémeaux award for best performance by an actor (in 1998 and 2001). He was also part of many movies, including Vous êtes ici (Ph. Gagnon), La conciergerie (M. Poulette) and Being at home with Claude (J. Beaudin).
