Artistic director of the Compagnie Jean Duceppe since 1991, MICHEL DUMONT is an important figure in the artistic scene. Active at the theatre as well as on screen, he played on all the major stages of Québec and in countless series and teleplays. Among his performances, let's mention, for the stage, Oncle Vania, Les bonbons qui sauvent la vie, Charbonneau et le chef, L'habilleur, L'année du championnat, 24 poses (Portraits), Rien à voir avec les rossignols and La mort d'un commis voyageur, for television, Les étoiles filantes, Rumeurs, Détect.inc, Bunker le cirque, L'or and Rue L'Espérance and for the cinema, Laura Cadieux... la suite (D. Filiatrault) and Cargo (F. Girard). MICHEL DUMONT has also coauthored a few television series and translated some 25 theatrical pieces
