ANNE DORVAL’s artistic course is a remarkable one. After 20 years in the scene, she has acted in close to 30 theatrical productions, some 20 television programs and several movies. She gives great performances on television (L’or et le papier, Chambres en ville, Virginie, Emma, Détect.inc., Grande Ourse and Rumeurs), as well as on stage. Among her theatrical experiences, let’s mention: Oreste – The Reality show (Espace GO), Variations sur un temps (Juste pour rire), Juste la fin du monde (Espace GO), Les fourberies de Scapin (Théâtre du Rideau Vert), Électre (Espace GO) and Le mariage de Figaro (Théâtre du Rideau Vert). She gives proof that she can play mockery as well as tragedy, with a leading part, aside Marc Labrèche, in the scathing soap satire Le cœur a ses raisons. Finally, she can be seen in the movie La vie secrète des gens heureux (S. Lapointe) and J’ai tué ma mère (I killed my mother) (X. Dolan), the film took three out of four major feature film prizes at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival. On television, she is part the popular family comedy on Radio-Canada, Les Parent.
