Having won public renown with her character of Martine in Sous le signe du lion, SUZANNE CLÉMENT continued to charm us on television (the Jean Duceppe series, Grande Ourse, La vie, la vie, Cover Girl and Les hauts et les bas de Sophie Paquin).  On stage, she proved she was an accomplished actress in, for example, Fleurs d’acier (Compagnie Jean Duceppe), Je suis une mouette... (Théâtre de Quat’Sous and Théâtre de l’Opsis), Les trois soeurs (Théâtre de l’Opsis), La cerisaie (TNM), La grande magia (Compagnie Jean Duceppe), Elektra (Théâtre de l’Opsis) and Jouliks (Théâtre d’Aujourd’hui).  For the big screen, she took part in many productions, among which Opération Tango (M. Blandford and J. Despins), 2 secondes (M. Briand), Le confessionnal (R. Lepage), L’audition (Luc Picard – Jutra nomination for Best Actress and Genie nomination for best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role), La brunante (F. Dansereau – nomination for a Jutra Award for Best Supporting Actress) and J’ai tué ma mère (I killed my mother) (X. Dolan),  which took three out of four major feature film prizes at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival.
