Gymnast and
choreographer, DEBRA BROWN has had a
diverse and impressive career path. She has done the choreography for several Cirque du Soleil shows (Quidam,
Alegria, Saltimbanco, Nouvelle Expérience, Cirque réinventé, La Nouba, Ô, Mystère,
Zumanity, Dralion, Corteo, Zed), worked for the opera, trained Canada’s
Olympic gymnastics team and created the choreography for the Canadian
synchronized swimming team at the Sydney Olympic Games. DEBRA BROWN has worked with major artists such as Aerosmith, Céline
Dion and Madonna. Her stellar reputation is underlined by the many awards that
have come her way. In 2002, she received an Emmy for the choreography performed
by Cirque du Soleil at the Oscar
awards ceremony. No stranger to movies, she was responsible for the
choreography in Catwoman and Van Helsing, among others.
