Novelist, CHRYSTINE BROUILLET has published her first book, entitled Chère voisine, in 1982. Since then, this prolific author has been writing novels of various styles (including the recent Les quatre saisons de Violetta) and youth novels. Thirteen of the latter were brought to television as part of the series Les aventures de la courte échelle, and a movie was done based on her novel Le collectionneur. Her most recet novel, Rouge secret, was published by Boréal. In addition, her literary and gastronomical reports are heard regularly on the Radio-Canada radio and she is hosting Qui dit vin on Télé-Québec . CHRYSTINE BROUILLET’s work has earned her several honours: the Robert Cliche award for Chère voisine and the Alvine-Bélisle award for Le complot, among others. She’s also been decorated with the Ordre de la Pléiade.
