SERGE BOUCHER is one of the playwrights whose work
is most often played on Québec stages. His first text, Natures
mortes, was staged by Michel Tremblay. Since then, all his plays
(Là , Les bonbons qui sauvent la vie, Avec Norm, 24 poses
(portraits) and Motel Hélène) have been staged by
René Richard Cyr. Motel Hélène and 24 poses
(portraits) were both brought to television and produced in English.
Boucher just completed a TV series "Aveux" for
Radio-Canada.
